Cops: Pound Ridge Woman Carried Stun Gun, Switchblades

A 21-year-old Pound Ridge woman is facing misdemeanor charges after police found her to be in possession of marijuana, an electronic stun gun and two switchblade knives, officials say.

State troopers from the Southeast Barracks arrested Thresa Iacovino at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Route 22 and Sodom Road in Southeast, after a traffic stop. Police found the items during subsequent investigation. 

Iacovino is facing three counts of misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. She was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. 

The defendant was released pending an April 23 appearance in Southeast Justice Court.
