It's 5 things you need to know Thursday.

1.World AIDS Day
On Dec. 1, no matter where you are, join the Hudson Valley HIV Community Network in a minute of silence at noon to remember those who have died, and to show your support for all who are currently living with HIV/AIDS. The theme of this World AIDS Day is “Act Aware.” This means finding out the facts about HIV, including how it is spread, how it can be prevented, and the reality of living with HIV. World AIDS Day is a chance for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to honor people who have died.
