Fox Lane Students Hold Hunger Banquet, Perform Shakespeare

1. Day of bowling with Fox Lane Boosters
The Fox Lane Sports Boosters' club announced plays for their winter gala fundraiser at Grand Prix New York, a day-long bowling event on Jan. 28. The booster club plans to take over all 19 lanes for the whole day and have planned age appropriate bowling sessions for the community. Click here for details.
2. Town of Bedford to finish open space debate

Tonight town officials plan to complete a public hearing on the open space levy. Currently proposed in the draft budget as .5%, what will happen to the tax is to be decided tonight. A full preview of the meeting will be posted this morning.

This weekend the talented Fox Lane Players will perform William Shakespeare's play, A Midsummer's Night Dream.
On Wednesday night, students have a chance to learn about issues of hunger through the school's annual Hunger Banquet. to learn more.
4. Free Cat adoption event
Pets Alive Westchester is hosting the “Free Cat Adoption Event” to highlight the many different breeds of cats. Whether you are a first time pet owner, or looking for a friend for your cat, now is the perfect time to adopt. All cats adopted from Pets Alive Westchester are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped.
5.Wet weather
Yesterday's balmy air and dry skies will be replaced today by cooler, damper weather. The National Weather Service forecasts a 40 percent chance of showers during the day, with an increasing chance of seeing some rain overnight Tuesday.
