Gay Center Feeds 200 During Community Dinner in White Plains

More than 200 guests were at The LOFT LGBT Community Services Center in White Plains Saturday for a free Thanskgiving dinner,

The dinner, which was open to the entire community, was held as a way to say thanks to the LOFT's supporters and to recognize the organization's 30th anniversary.

The center, which serves gay, lesbian and transgendered people in the lower Hudson Valley, reached out to local agencies that deal with hunger, homelessness as well as community centers and nursing homes for potential invitees. 

Local restaurants donated food to the event and stores donated items for door prizes.
