The warm, green Christmas that led to a 50-degree New Year is but a distant memory with Tuesday morning temperatures dipping into the 20s. There's a chance of flurries today along with blustery winds. Tonight will be downright frigid with the wind chill making it feel like minus three degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Wednesday we'll stay in the 20s and Thursday it could warm up into the 30s. Brrr.

To hear some local talented student musicians, mark your calendars for these upcoming concerts: Mon. Jan 9, Winter Choral Concert; Thurs. Jan. 12, the Winter Orchestras Concert; Wed. Jan. 18 the Winter Band Concert and Mon. Jan. 30 the Winter Jazz Concert. All performances begin at 7 p.m.
