Update, Friday 7 a.m.
Bedford Police caution drivers that local road conditions are slippery.
An earlier accident on I-684 blocked the right hand shoulder at Exit 9/I-84. It's expected to be cleared shortly after 8 a.m.

Closures, delays, postponements:

- Katonah Lewisboro and Bedford Central Schools are closed Friday.
- The St. Luke's School in New Canaan is closed.
- The Harvey School in Katonah is closed.
- Town of Bedford Offices are on a 2 hour delayed opening; they will be open at 10:30 am
- The Lewisboro Library will be closed today, Friday, March 8. Today's programs - "Downloading eBooks to Your iPad" and the "Dear Governor Cuomo" film screening and discussion are postponed and will be rescheduled.The "Clancy Family Tradition" folk concert will go on as scheduled tomorrow night, March 9 at 8 pm.
Update, 11 p.m. Thursday
The flakes should be finished by 1 p.m. Friday, but not before another one to three inches are on the ground, according to the National Weather Service. There is a chance of some snow and rain throughout the rest of the day, and temperatures will likely hit a high of 39 degrees.
Cloudy skies Friday night, and a low of about 24 degrees, will give way to a Sunday Saturday and temperatures in the low to mid 40s, the agency reports.
Update, 1 p.m. Thursday
Bedford and Katonah will likely see a fresh blanket of snow when Friday morning arrives.
Reports from the National Weather Service call for two to four inches to fall Thursday night, with temperatures slated to hit a low of about 29 degrees. The snow could continue into Friday, leaving another inch on the ground before 1 p.m.
Rain may follow, and temperatures should stay around 40 degrees.
No snow is expected Friday night, and Saturday should be sunny with temperatures in the mid to high-40s.
Update, 1 p.m. Wednesday
The forecasted snow is causing some cancellations:
- Bedford Central Schools has cancelled its Wednesday evening school board meeting.
- The Affordable Housing forum scheduled in Bedford has been rescheduled to May 1.

The New York area is expected to feel the effects of a Nor'Easter that has already hit parts of the Midwest.
By Friday, new snow accumulation in Katonah could amount to a few inches, according to reports from the National Weather Service.
The agency says snow is "likely" after 12 p.m. Wednesday, with less than half an inch falling during the day, and one to two inches hitting over night. More may fall before noon Thursday and that night, as well as Friday morning.
High temperatures will probably range from 35 to 40 degrees during the day—with cloudy skies, as well as "blustery" and "breezy" conditions—and nighttime lows will be in the high 20s and low 30s, the NWS forecasts.
No advisories had been issued for the Bedford-Katonah area as of 11 p.m. Tuesday.
