John Jay/North Salem Alpine Ski Team Wins League Championship

Both the Girls and Boys Varsity Alpine SKi teams from John Jay/North Salem High School completed their undefeated seasons by defeating rival Yorktown High school in the League Championship race held at Thunder Ridge Ski area on February 14.
The Girls team easily beat Yorktown with scores of 148.69 to 160.79.

Leading the way for John Jay/North Salem was Helen Eifert (27.00 sec), Dakota Adamec (28.63), Allanah Fryer (30.49), Bonnie Singh (30.7), Brianna Caleri (31.87), Alice Levy (32.25), Amanda Ko (34.37), Renee Wallace (36.43), Eliza Sullivan (37.43), and Addie Migden with 40.99.

The Boys team beat the Yorktown team by a smaller margin, 179.96 to 183.47. The boys were led by Jack Marschke (34.28), Trace Beyer (35.76), Scott Michaels (35.83) Andrew Marderstein (36.66), Ryan Reinke (37.43), Ryan Ledwith (37.82) Brett Sweeney (38.43), Charles Bocklett (38.47) and Bear Carlson (38.5).
