Katonah Community Center Workers: Katonah Heroes

Clare Murray, Noya Guerrero, Nicole Sorgivand and Celeste Potosh​ were nominated as local heroes during the coronavirus outbreak.

KATONAH, NY — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

What does the nominee do for work?
They seem to do everything!!! The Community Center as a whole supports a vast community with amazing strength, love, emotional support and make everyone feels as they are family.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
I have been volunteering in the food pantry for the last few months and the outpouring of love the community center provides is immeasurable.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?
I know these people do everything to unloading trucks, making personal calls, know everyones name and most importantly care for everyone that walks into the center.
