Katonah-Lewisboro Budget Adoption Happening Tonight
The $114,879,543 plan comes in with a tax levy increase of 1.5 percent.

Board of education trustees for the Katonah-Lewisboro School District are slated to adopt the 2013-2014 budget at tonight's meeting.
Superintendent Dr. Paul Kreutzer's $114,879,543 plan calls for increased spending on school security; staff reductions; and a tax levy increase of 1.5 percent. Kreutzer ran through the budget during a brief slideshow at the last board meeting, on March 21.
"As of tonight, the superintendent's budget that was proposed some weeks ago has remained intact," he said then. "The board has not charged us with making significant changes."
