KES Joins International Walk to School Day, Little Joe's Opens Tomorrow

1. KES and town of Bedford 'Walk to School'

Katonah Elementary School is participating in International Walk to School Day as part of our Safe Routes to School Program. The KES PTO is encouraging KES students to walk or bike to school on Wednesday, joining students across the state, country and world in similar efforts. Check back with Patch for more on the story.

4. God's call to reduce energy?

Protestant congregations, have signed a declaration asking local residents to reduce the energy wasted in their homes as an important way to protect and safeguard the environment. 5. Bedford Chamber at 8 p.m.

Renowned musician Anthony Newman along with the Bedford Chamber Ensemble will present a program of celebrated piano quintets. The performance will include Bach's Concerto in E major for Harpsichord,  Johannes Brahms Piano Quintet in F minor and an original composition by Mr. Newman, Chaconne and Fugue in D major. A peaceful way to interrupt the busy-ness of mid-week!
