Letters to the Editor: Support Democrats on Tuesday

Dear Editor,

All of us in Bedford have a great opportunity on Tuesday to re-elect real reformers.   Chris Burdick and David Gabrielson have worked diligently to put an end to the exorbitant tax increases of the past.    They have found ways to reduce our tax burden without jeopardizing basic services.

On the county level, reelecting Pete Harckham will ensure the fiscal responsibility that saw our county taxes reduced by more than 2 percent this year.   A vote for Pete Harckham will also guarantee a system of checks and balances in county government

Both on the local and county level, I strongly urge my neighbors to vote for Chris Burdick, David Gabrielson, Kevin Quaranta and Pete Harckham on Tuesday.
