AP is reporting Zimmerman has been arrested, charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

George Zimmerman, the man accused of killing in Florida on Feb. 26, will be charged for his role in the death of the 17-year-old, the Washington Post reports.

More than a month has passed since the Florida teen's death. Zimmerman has claimed he acted in self-defense, acting in accordance with Florida's Stand Your Ground Law.
