Police Explorers Place in Top Third at Competition

The competition was at the Westchester County Police Academy.

The two-year-old is well underway and a new class of recruits has already made itself known amongst explorer posts from around Westchester County.

The class competed last month against eight other groups of police trainees and placed third amongst their peers.

Their abilities were tested in an array of law enforcement scenarios and skill demonstrations: First aid, handling emotionally disturbed persons, agility, traffic stops, and suspicious person calls.
