Police: Katonah Dispute Leads to Attempted Kidnapping Charge

Bedford Police arrested a 28-year-old man on a variety of charges—including attempted kidnapping and robbery—in connection with an incident that occurred in Katonah Monday afternoon.

Officers responded to a reported dispute on The Parkway, between Bedford Road and Katonah Avenue, at about 2:20 p.m.

"On arrival, officers came upon an altercation between a male and female inside a vehicle," authorities said. They released limited information Monday night, citing an ongoing investigation.

Their probe led to the arrest of Travis D. Walker, whose town of residence police have yet to reveal. He's facing the following charges:

• Aggravated unlicensed operation
• Attempted kidnapping
• Robbery
• Unlawful imprisonment
• Unlawful possession of marijuana
