Did you know that you can rate any local business right here on the pages of the Bedford-Katonah Patch? Click on Places, in the blue bar at the top of the page. You can browse places, or you can search for a specific one. Open the listing, then scroll down to the bottom of the page. Click on the number of stars you think the place deserves and, if you wish, add your comments in the box below. Hit “Rate it!” and there you go.

4. New blogger, Momof6
Welcome to Sharon Rowley, a Bedford mom of six kids who also runs a successful blog chronicling her adventures in parenting, crafting and much more. She's sharing some of her stories on Patch, and today, is a book review of a book called Best Kept Secret. It made us want to pick up the book—check it out and welcome, Momof6!
5. Less frigid for the weekend
Though skiers may be happy about the cold temperatures (many local resorts had the chance to beef-up their granular man-made snow this week) it will warm up a bit for those who like it warmer. Friday will be a high of 46, Saturday a high of 47 and Sunday a high of 41, according to the National Weather Service. Happy Weekend!
