Severe Thunderstorm Watch For Bedford-Katonah

Another wave of wild, is in store for the area today, followed by the possibility of more severe skies.

The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the area.

Folks in Northern Westchester County can expect "scattered to numerous thunderstorms to develop this afternoon and evening," the NWS stated.

The severe weather could produce lightning, damaging wind gusts, heavy rain and hail, according to the NWS.

This afternoon's high of 87 degrees will feel hot compared to tonight's low of 73 degrees.

On Tuesday, expect only a 20 percent chance of showers, according to the NWS.
