State Police Charge Bedford Resident With Drug Posession

A Bedford man was arrested on March 5 after state police allegedly saw him weaving in and out of his lane while driving in the town of Somers.

Gerard Brown, 46, was stopped by state troopers on Route 100. During their investigation, troopers said they found Brown to be in possession of Phencyclidine, commonly known as PCP, and further discovered Brown was driving under the influene of drugs.

Brown was charged with DWAI and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. he was issued an appearance ticket and released pending an appearance in Somers Town Court on March 12 at 5 p.m.
