In the wake of the , The Minnesota Hockey Association voted this week to implement harsher penalties for checking-from-behind in hockey. As of today, it will be a minimum five minute major penalty. 4. Lego Creations Club
If you have a child under the age of 10 (and maybe even over that!), chances are, they like to play with legos. There's a club meeting at the , faciliated by members of the library's Teen Advisory Group. Its starts at 4:30 p.m., and you need to register your child in grades 1 - 5.
5. Fashion at the Farmhouse
Reservations are still available for this 3-course luncheon at the where a collection by Carlisle, a high-end fashion company based in New York City, will be modeled by local women. According to organizers, "Carlisle produces couture dresses, suits, separates and accessories with a sense of classic style that is modern yet appropriate for any professional or social occasion."
