Hockey Rules Toughen Up, Food and Fashion at the Farmhouse

3. Hockey rules get tougher in Minnesota, some locals want them tougher everywhere

In the wake of the , The Minnesota Hockey Association voted this week to implement harsher penalties for checking-from-behind in hockey. As of today, it will be a minimum five minute major penalty. We talked with some local players, coaches and parents about their take on the rules and what they think should happen on the ice. Check back today for our story.

4. Lego Creations Club

If you have a child under the age of 10 (and maybe even over that!), chances are, they like to play with legos. There's a club meeting at the , faciliated by members of the library's Teen Advisory Group. Its starts at 4:30 p.m., and you need to register your child in grades 1 - 5.
