Four years ago, the dancers in the s Nova Jazz company were documented in an It's now available on DVD, Amazon and Netflix. The film features the student dance company, nova jazz, and company director Jennifer Dell. Dell is the owner and Artistic Director of The Pulse Performing Arts Studio. The DVD release was perfectly timed with Nova Jazz marking its ten year anniversary this season, according to the studio.

4. Reminder, KVL Closed on Sundays
We got a few weekend emails from folks wondering why the library was closed Sunday. The library announced earlier this month that it was no longer able to stay open on Sundays due to budget constraints. Library officials also said they are continuing to reach out to supporters including private benefactors to obtain the needed financing to keep the Library open on Sunday afternoons. The annual cost of Sunday hours is approximately $12,000. They also announced at that time that there would be a small increase in overdue fines for materials such as books, audio books, CDs and magazine, rising from $0.20 a day to $0.25 a day.
5.Wine tasting at the Kittle House, Thursday
There's a wine tasting to benefit The Open Door Family Medical Centers, to be held at Crabtree's Kittle House this Thursday. The cost is $35 (advance registration) or $40 (at the door).
