Tommy Mattola's Former Westchester Home Hits The Market For $29.5M
Mariah Carey's ex-husband's seven-bedroom Katonah mansion, built in 1928, is nestled on the wooded 48-acre "Brook Hollow Farm."
KATONAH, NY — If you've ever had your eye on Brook Hollow Farm on Mount Holly Road, the estate once owned by music mogul Tommy Mattola, Mariah Carey's first ex-husband, your chance is finally here.
The listing, by Fran Ehrlich of Sotheby's International Realty, invites buyers to "survey all that is offered... on foot or in a vehicle, via the trail that winds around the property, past the charming 1920s Writer's Cottage — one more element of an incomparable lifestyle so close to New York City."
According to the listing, "Brook Hollow Farm is a captivating retreat" with 48 acres of grounds and gardens, recently redesigned by noted landscape designer, Miranda Brooks, surrounding the main house, six outbuildings, a new tennis court and a 72-foot-long pool. The most recent renovation of the property "has seamlessly blended quality craftsmanship, timeless architecture and modern amenities into a sophisticated residence designed to cater to the needs of a contemporary lifestyle, while preserving the classic charm of the 1920s house."
