Town Budget Hearing, Silent Art Auction, New KMA Board Members
It's 5 things you need to know Tuesday.

1. Budget hearing 7 p.m.
Tonight's town board meeting is preceded by the public hearing on the board's proposed budget. Read the details on tomorrow's Patch. The board is also expected to ratify a Memorandum of Agreement with Local 456, of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (White Collar Unit) and approve Harold J. Girdlestone as the next town assessor. Girdlestone, formerly employed in Yorktown, will replace Tom Polzella, the long-time assessor who will retire this year.
2. Two Katonah residents appointed to Katonah Museum of Art board

Tricia Summers Freeman and Rima Marschke of Katonah, as well as Ernest Osborne of Somers, were all appointed to serve as members of the board of directors at the Katonah Museum of Art. “These individuals bring specific expertise in the areas of financial management, marketing, and public service & non-profit governance,” said Rochelle Rosenberg, president of the board. “They all share a deep commitment to community and to the arts, and will enhance the KMA with their passion and skills and, by doing so, will enrich the community we all share and love.”

3. Holiday Boutique at Sharaay Tefila
Shop at Temple Shaaray Tefila’s Holiday Boutique from 9:15 a.m. - 2 p.m.through Dec. 16. Vendors will be selling jewelry, clothing for children & adults, makeup & skin care, Judaica, and more! 4. FOMA Art auction
Do you know about the FOMA New Sculpture Garden at FLHS? Attend the ART AUCTION and mingle with others who value the arts, music and education with BCSD. Bid on works of art generously donated by art teachers, grad students and community members. Proceeds benefit the capital improvement project of a new district art gallery patio and sculpture garden at Fox Lane High School. Starts tonight at 6:30 p.m.
5. AD/HD Support group meets
CHADD of Putnam/Westchester holds their monthly support meeting tonight at Four Winds Hospital in Cross River. The topic is: Neurospychological testing: Measurements for insight and compensation strategies. The featured speaker is Nelson Dorta, PhD, Neuropsychologist. Starts at 6:30 - 7:15 PM with the general meeting at 7:30 PM. A $5.00 Donation is requested of nonmembers
