A local charity is holding a free Indian-inspired tea and update event on Thursday morning. The group is named KEEP, which is short for Katonah Education Exchange Program. Their mission is to keep girls in school in areas of rural India where they are at risk of being sold to brothels. Every penny donated to KEEP goes directly to a non-profit in India called Apne Aap.  Thursday's event is open to all potential new members/donors. Note cards will be sold for a $10 tax-deductible donation, with each card supporting one month of enrollment in a daily program for at-risk girls in Bihar, India. Anyone interested in attending should email keepcharity@gmail.com for details.
