TV King Purchases 'Pretty Woman' Star's Bedford Home For Over $24M

Despite the purchase, it was a nearly $4 million loss for Richard Gere, who put the home for sale for $28 million.

BEDFORD, NY — Ryan Murphy, the “King of TV,” is the secret buyer of “Pretty Woman” star Richard Gere’s Westchester compound, the New York Post reported.

The home, which Murphy bought for $24.15 million, was built in 2,000, according to Zillow.com, a real estate website.

The 50-acre home, at 81 Lyndel Road, is buffered by another 43-acres of protected land and a winding country lane. It has a private lake with a sandy beach, an island to row out to hills for horseback riding, weeping willows and mature plantings, according to Zillow.
