Updated: Three Car Crash Sends One to Hospital
The driver who caused Monday's collision was issued a ticket for making an unsafe lane change.

The driver who caused a three-car crash in Cross River Monday morning has been issued a ticket for making an unsafe lane change, a violation, said Bedford police.
The accident occured just after 8 a.m. Monday morning when a car traveling east on Route 35 near Old Cross River Road attempted to change lanes, sideswiping a second car and crashing head-on into a third car that was headed west.
After the accident, a 36-year-old male from Waccabuc, who was driving the car that was sideswiped, sustained serious injuries including head lacerations and possible broken bones.

He was taken to the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. Others involved received treatment at the scene but were not transported to the hospital.
Bedford police closed the road to local traffic while they investigated and reconstructed the accident. The road was re-opened at approximately 12 p.m.
