Visions for Vacancies: Former Perennial Chef Space

Let's call this a modern spin on community planning; a digital drawing board where all ideas are on the table.

We present a vacant space or property and ask you to tell us what you think would be the best use. Forget what zone it's in, ignore setback regulations, dump lot coverage rules and all the other zoning jargon that puts many people to sleep. What would you like to see there? What would be the best use for the community?

Many local folks joined the conversation for the . Up next was a property on Woods Bridge Road in Katonah, followed by a space on Adams Street in Bedford Hills.

Now, we're hoping you'll weigh in on the vacancy at 25 Depot Plaza in Bedford Hills. It's been empty since late March 2012, when The Perennial Chef closed its doors. The eatery had been serving local folks from that space for six years.

So, Bedford and Katonah folks, the question is: What would you like to see in the space?
