Bellmore-Merrick Earn Medals For High Scores on Spanish Examinations

Twelve students received "oro" (gold) medals and national recognition for their performance.

Twelve students from Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District’s Kennedy High School, Calhoun High School and Mepham High School recently received “oro” (gold) medals and national recognition for their  performances on the 2013 National Spanish Examinations.

The National Spanish Examinations are given each year in grades six through 12. They are sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.
