Calhoun's On Tour Company Kicks Off Season

In honor of the On Tour Company's 40th anniversary, students performed Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale."

In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Calhoun High School's On Tour Company kicked off its season with performances of William Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale."

This season, students will also perform Harold Rome’s “Pins and Needles,” Monty Python’s “Spamalot,” and “The Laramie Project” by Moises Kaufman and the Tectonic Theatre Company. 

The On Tour Company was founded in 1973 by James Drake and Dr. Dale Parkinson. The program, under the direction of Sal Salerno, has been performing since September 1985 and was voted Best High School Theatre Program in the Northeast for 2012 by Stage Directions magazine.
