Fire Commissioner Elections Set For Tuesday
Residents can vote on Tuesday until 9 p.m.
Fire commissioner elections will be held in Bellmore and North Bellmore on Tuesday.
Incumbent John Johnstone is being challenged by Robert Taylor for one five-year term as commissioner of the Bellmore Fire Department. Voting will take place at the fire department's headquarters at 230 Pettit Ave from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Robert Bazarewski is running against Robert Marschall for a five-year term as fire commissioner of the North Bellmore Fire Department. Voting will take place at 1500 Newbridge Road and 821 Newbridge road from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
