The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District's Board of Education has new leadership for the 2013/14 school year.

Susan Schwartz was appointed to serve as president for the Bellmore-Merrick board during Tuesday's reorganization meeting. The position was previously held by Marion Blane.

JoAnn DeLauter was voted as vice president by the board.

The next Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District meeting will take place on July 24.
