Street Food Restaurant Roberto Chang To Hold Grand Opening In March
The eatery took over the space of Bellcrest Kosher Deli, long dormant on Merrick Road.

BELLMORE, NY — After a "soft launch" for more than a month, Roberto Chang is ready for its official grand opening.
The new eatery specializes in Asian and Latin street food.
Roberto Chang fills the storefront where Bellcrest Kosher Deli had customers, although he only dusts since its closure more than a decade ago on Merrick Road in Bellmore.

The restaurant, next to Brokerage Comedy Club, will celebrate its debut with an all-day menu on Saturday, March 1 (1 p.m.- 7 p.m.) and a brunch menu on Sunday, March 2 (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
This is Paul Cicchetti's first attempt at the restaurant business. The Port Washington native told Patch last month that customers won't find knives, forks or dishes in the establishment.

Instead, easy-to-eat items, such as egg rolls and wontons, make this a finger food or, at least, a good grab-and-go option.
Those you attendance the opening weekend will receive a free ticket for Brokerage.
"We don't use grease fryers. We don't even have a chef," Cicchetti said. "All our food comes in prepared off-site."
While the focus is getting the Bellmore location, Cicchetti said last month he hopes of expanding the Roberto Chang brand later this year.
