Parking, Stop Signs, Sidewalks: Town Of Hempstead Board Meeting Agenda
Various parking rules and regulations are on the agenda.

HEMPSTEAD, NY — The Town of Hempstead will hold its next regularly scheduled board meeting Tuesday morning.
A look at the agenda shows several local parking rules will be addressed, including amending traffic regulations in the vicinity of schools in Seaford and Uniondale.
Another proposal would add handicapped parking on public streets in Elmont, Inwood, Merrick and Valley Stream.

A set of stop signs are being proposed for communities that include: Bellmore, Elmont, Merrick and Wantagh.
The Tuesday town board meeting is also expected to announce the authorization of construction of sidewalks and curbs on various streets in the unincorporated area of the Town of Hempstead.

On the agenda as well, board members are expected to accept the proposal for engineering services for use of lead and copper in the water at the Lido-Point Lookout Water District.
