3. BMCRC Hosts First Public Forum: The Bellmore-Merrick Community Reconstruction Committee(BMCRC) held its first public information meeting this week. 

2. Mangano Selects Bellmore-Merrick Training Center for Disaster Relief Trailer: County Executive Ed Mangano recently announced that an Office of Emergency Management (OEM) fully equipped disaster response and relief trailer has been placed at the Bellmore-Merrick Fire Department’s Four Towns Training Center in Merrick. 

1. New Homes to be Built on Former Army Base: Seventy-nine new homes are set to be built on the former U.S. Army base in North Bellmore.
