CI Man Exposes Himself To Teenagers On Multiple Occasions: Police

On one occasion, he offered a teen a ride to school while exposing himself, police say.

BRENTWOOD, NY — A man was arrested and charged on Tuesday, after he exposed himself to teenagers on multiple occasions in Brentwood earlier this month, Suffolk County Police said.

On Oct. 5, at about 6:35 a.m., a man exposed himself to a teenage girl and asked her if she wanted a ride to school while sitting in his 2007 Acura on Columbus Avenue.

The same man committed similar acts on Hancock Street on Oct. 19 at about 6:45 a.m. and on Pine Aire Drive on Oct. 24 at about 6:50 a.m., police said.

Following an investigation by Third Squad detectives, the man was identified as Inmar Escalante Diaz, 19, of Central Islip.

On Tuesday, at about 4:18 p.m., law enforcement later located Escalante Diaz in his vehicle on Motor Parkway.

He was charged with three counts of public lewdness and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

Escalante Diaz is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Wednesday.

The investigation is continuing, police said. Anyone who believes they may be a victim of Escalante Diaz is asked to call Third Squad detectives at 631-854-8352.
