Driver, Passenger Seriously Injured In Suffolk Crash: Police

The driver, 20, and 2 teens were hurt in the crash, when their vehicle veered into 2 parked cars in Brentwood, police say.

BRENTWOOD, NY — A driver and passenger were seriously injured in a Brentwood crash early Sunday — and another teen was also hurt, police said.

According to Suffolk County police, the crash took place on Express Drive North, east of Washington Avenue, at 1:56 a.m. The driver, 20, of Mastic, was driving a 2007 Honda Accord eastbound on Express Drive North when the vehicle veered to the right and struck two parked vehicles, police said.

Quinones and his passenger, 16, were transported with serious injuries to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore; another passenger, 14, was also transported to South Shore University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

No charges were filed in the crash, police said.
