Illegal Vehicles Removed From Long Island Road: Police

More than a dozen illegally parked vehicles were removed from a Brentwood road by Suffolk County police on Friday.

BRENTWOOD, NY — A dozen illegally parked vehicles were removed from a road in Brentwood on Friday, according to Suffolk County police.

Police said that in response to community complaints and a history of illegally parked vehicles on Suffolk Avenue, 12 vehicles, several without license plates, were impounded by the Town of Islip.

NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law requires number plates to be affixed to vehicles parked on roadways and all other parking regulations must be followed to avoid possible enforcement action and having a vehicle impounded, police.
