Man Found Killed In Suffolk Parking Lot Identified: Police
He was found early Sunday, police say.
BRENTWOOD, NY — A man found killed in a Brentwood parking lot Sunday morning has been identified as Alexander Velasquez, 46, of Central Islip, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, the incident took place on Clarke Street at 4:40 a.m.
Police responded to a 911 call regarding an adult male lying on the ground in the parking lot; he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The man’s death appears criminal in nature, police said. The Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause of death, police said.
