Murder Charge For Man Arrested After Parking Lot Killing On LI: Police
A Brentwood man has been arrested for killing someone in a Long Island parking lot last weekend, Suffolk County police say.
BRENTWOOD, NY — A man has been arrested for allegedly killing another man in a parking lot last weekend, according to Suffolk County police.
Alex Reyes, 21, of Brentwood, was arrested Monday night and charged with second-degree murder for allegedly killing Alexander Velasquez, 46, of Central Islip, in a parking lot located at 159 Clarke St. in Brentwood around 4:40 a.m. on June 22, police said.
Reyes was held overnight at the Third Precinct and is scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday, police said.
