Smoke Shop Busted For Selling Tobacco Products To A Minor: PD

Suffolk County police arrested an Islip Terrace smoke shop as part of "Operation Smoke Out" on Sunday, police say.

BRENTWOOD, NY — A Brentwood smoke shop employee was arrested Thursday after selling tobacco products to a minor, according to Suffolk County Police.

Taghi Sidi, 24, of Brentwood, was charged with second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child after selling tobacco products to an underage person at Bougatfa Zero Smoke Shop, located at 656 Suffolk Avenue in Brentwood, police said.

The investigation was part of Suffolk Police Department's “Operation Smoke Out," which aims to crack down on underage and illegal vape sales.

Jordan was issued a Field Appearance Ticket and is slated to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
