1 of 2 Winning $688 Million Powerball Tickets Sold in NY
Someone who bought a Powerball ticket in New York is having a nice little Sunday.

Two winning tickets were sold for Saturday night's massive Powerball jackpot of $687.8 million. One of those tickets was sold in New York.
Someone who bought a ticket at West Harlem Deli located at 2040 5th Ave. in Manhattan will split the jackpot with another winner in Iowa.
There were also two second-prize winning tickets sold in New York that are worth $1 million. They were sold in Massapequa and Westbury, both in Nassau County on Long Island.

Saturday's winning numbers were 8-12-13-19-27 and Powerball 4.
The jackpot ranked as the fourth largest in U.S. lottery history behind the world record $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot shared by winners in California, Florida and Tennessee in January 2016, the $1.537 billion Mega Millions jackpot won in South Carolina last Tuesday, and the $758.7 million Powerball jackpot won in Massachusetts in August 2017.

The lucky ticket holders will have a choice between an estimated annuity of $343.9 million, paid in 30 graduated payments over 29 years, or a lump sum payment of $198.1 million. Both prize options are before taxes.
