Eastchester School Budget Results Announced

EASTCHESTER, NY — Voters in the Eastchester school district went to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to approve the 2023-24 budget.

The proposed spending plan of $101.8 million was approved 833 to 567, according to unofficial results.

The budget is up 5.9 percent over the current budget.

The tax levy increase is zero percent, which is under the state tax cap.

There were four candidates running for two, three-year terms. The winners are Jill Cosentino, incumbent Robert Krukowski and Sean Fellin.
