Investigators say they have officially identified the body of Eastchester's Catherine Cotter. Authorities found her body in the Bronx River Friday. The 88-year-old, who suffered from dementia, went missing a week ago.
Police say the body was found floating in the river about a mile from where she lived on Garth Road. Police had been searching near the area of the Bronx River Parkway by Leewood Drive, in addition to all of Harlem Line Metro-North stations.
