Tuckahoe Voters OK $40.1M 2023-24 Budget

TUCKAHOE, NY — Voters in the Tuckahoe school district went to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to approve the 2023-24 budget.

The proposed spending plan of $40.1 million was approved 676 to 249, according to results on the district’s website.

The budget is up 4.94 percent over the current budget.

The tax levy increase is 2.74 percent, which is under the state tax cap.

There were four candidates running for two, three-year seats. The winners are Scott Bogetti and incumbent Peter Casson.
