Woman Threatens to Kill Eastchester Superintendent
An Eastchester resident faces a menacing charge after police say she lunged at the district superintendent.

Police say a woman threatened to kill Eastchester School District's superintendent during a meeting, according to lohud.com.
Investigators are charging 37-year-old Eastchester resident Rita Oteri with menacing. Oteri is accused of lunging at Eastchester Superintendent Marilyn Terranova and threatening to kill her.
The incident happened at a meeting Oteri had at the district office yesterday, according to the school district. The incident apparently stemmed from a complaint Oteri had concerning her daughter's teachers' aide and teacher, according to the report.
Oteri, Terranova, Principal Jeff Melendez, Head of Curriculum Ron Hattar and Oteri's father were at the meeting. Police say Oteri's father restrained the 37-year-old Eastchester mother after she lunged at and then threatened Terranova.
