I am actually thankful for the NYC DoE. Why? Because my older daughter got a teaching position in September! And last spring she worked as a sub teacher and learned a lot too.
Why does this mean so much to you?

My daughter has a job that has growth, and she can help the community as a teacher.
How has this made a difference in your 2025?
She is earning a good salary, she has a sense of responsibility, and she is a 3rd generation NYC teacher!
What do you wish others knew about what you’re thankful for?
The DoE NYC has such a big role in our society. And teachers have a huge impact on our lives.
