BROOKLYN, NY — The NYPD on Wednesday released photos of two suspects wanted in connection with a shooting at a Sweet 16 birthday party in Brooklyn this past weekend.

The two gunmen are accused of shooting six people outside Burbuja Events on Atlantic Avenue around 1:15 a.m. on Dec. 14.

When officers arrived, they found six victims ranging in age from 15 to 17. Police said a 15-year-old girl was shot in the chest, hip and leg, while another 15-year-old girl was struck in the leg. A 15-year-old boy was shot in the left arm. Two 16-year-old boys were injured — one shot in the right arm and another in the left foot — and a 17-year-old boy was shot in the right leg.

All the teens were taken to local hospitals for treatment. They were listed in stable condition, police said.

The two men fled the scene on foot northbound on Ashford Street. Police believe the shooting may have been gang-related.
