CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A person was hit by a train Monday afternoon in Crown Heights, according to transit officials.

The person was hit at Utica Avenue station just before 2 p.m., according to MTA alerts.

They were taken to the hospital but more details about their condition were not immediately available, according to the FDNY.

4 trains were still running with delays in both directions two hours after the incident, according to the alert.

The last stop for southbound trains was briefly Bowling Green and 3 trains also bypassed the Utica Avenue station while emergency responders helped the person, officials said.
