National Dental expands SMYLES FOR HEROES, a new philanthropic program for NY area vets & first responders who are in need of dental implants due to tooth loss and are currently wearing dentures. Missing teeth have been shown to negatively impact overall health, quality of life and longevity. Full - arch dental implants can normally cost up to $60,000 per patient.

National Dental has selected the first group to receive their new teeth at no charge and is now opening the application process to select more candidates, seeking one each from Brooklyn and Queens. The selection will be based on clinical suitability.

Retired FDNY firefighter Ed Luciani just had all his missing and loose teeth replaced by the Smyles For Heroes program. Ed is a 911 survivor who lost his entire company in the attack.
