Woman Spews Anti-Muslim Tirade On New York City Bus, Video Shows

NEW YORK CITY, NY — A woman unleashed an anti-Muslim tirade on a city bus, taunting a woman in a headscarf that ICE would take her away, video shows.

The video, posted on YouTube this week, shows the woman on a Staten Island-bound bus coming from Brooklyn screaming at the other passenger that she's not a citizen and demanding that she "speaks f---ing English."

"Is that ICE?," yelled the woman, who identified herself as Ashely on the video. "Oh mama, they're here for you."

The incident started when a woman wearing a headscarf got on the bus with a stroller through the backdoor because it was too crowded, which accidentally triggered the door alarm, according to Reddit user LogothX, who posted the video online Wednesday.

Ashely began screaming at the woman to get away from the door then started to unleash her tirade.

"You no citizen, you no citizen," Ashley yells at the woman. "Speak f---king English."

Ashley later tells the cameraman that she's "getting into a fight with some Muslim chick because she has an attitude because she thinks she has rights that she doesn't have."

Reddit user LogothX wrote that the bus driver intervened shortly after he stopped filming and diffused the situation.

"The women screaming in the video accepted the rebuke with about as much grace as you'd expect," he wrote.
