East New York Man Disappears In Downtown Brooklyn, Cops Say

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — An East New York man has disappeared in Downtown Brooklyn miles from his home, according to police.

Joel McConney, 36, was last seen at a building on Livingston Street near Gallatin Place around 8 a.m. on Monday, according to police.

He lives on Barbey Street in East New York, records show.

McConney is described as standing 5 foot 11 inches tall, weighing 187 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, black pants, a red and black hat, red and black sneakers and was carrying a black drawstring bag, police said.
