  1. Two people have been arrested in connection to a 7-Eleven robbery and shooting in Buffalo. Tyyon Brown and Israel McMillian were arrested and charged in connection to a robbery that occurred Thursday night at the 7-Eleven store on East Lovejoy Street. Four people were taken into custody after the shooting. (WGRZ.com)
  2. A Buffalo man has been indicted on charges related to purse snatching that left an elderly woman in ICU. Michael T. Sawyer is facing 13 counts of indictment for a series of crimes and 25 years in prison. Sawyer allegedly grabbed a woman's purse while driving a stolen Jeep and then dragged her as she held on to the purse. (Buffalo News)
  3. After the events of this year, Mayor Byron Brown says that Buffalo's Juneteenth Festival will hold more importance. The festival will take place all day at Martin Luther King Jr. Park from Jun. 18-19. It is also the first one held since the COVID-19 pandemic began. (Spectrum News)
